And by sourcing from wineries with strong reputations, including producers recognized by Jancis Robinson or Gambero Rosso Italian Wines, we aim to offer wines our customers can buy with confidence.
Our Cold Chain Promise
Wine is fragile in heat. A few hours in a hot shipping container or a warehouse without air conditioning can quietly cook a bottle — the wine won’t necessarily look different, but it can lose the aromas, freshness, and balance the winemaker intended. We ship every bottle from Europe in refrigerated containers and store it in cold storage once it arrives in Manila, so the cold chain is never broken between the winery and your table. It’s a real cost and a lot more logistics than the alternative — but it’s the only way we’re comfortable putting our name on a bottle.
