Bindella 2012 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano
Cask sample. Dark ruby with blackish tinges. Lifted, concentrated nose and lively strawberry and cherry fruit on the palate with a load of unpolished tannins. The finish struggles a little with the astringency. An attractive wine, but more like a Rosso than a Vino Nobile. Just a little light. (WS)
