This historic cooperative is one of the most appreciated interpreters of Bassa Atesina and the entire region. It’s all thanks to the work of 300 grower members who cultivate large tracts of land both on the eastern side of the Adige valley (in Egna, Ora and Montagna), and on the western, around the winery itself. Elevations can vary greatly, and the members grow the cultivars best suited to the conditions. Willy Sturz and his staff then bring out the attributes of the grapes through a style that combines richness and finesse. The starring role naturally falls to their Gewürztraminer, produced in several versions, including the outstanding Nussbaumer. With the 2019 vintage, it unleashes a magnificent performance: it plays more on elegance than aromatic exuberance, with a rich palate perfectly governed by sapidity, long and well-balanced.
